The book conveys to very young readers that being different is a very beautiful thing. The reader will grasp the idea that if people can “hate” without reason perhaps they can “love” without logic.

Hate will never drown out hate; we must instead embed kindness, acceptance, empathy and tolerance in children; and pray those traits grow and multiply throughout the world.
