The first photo is the inspiration and style that the historic Howard Young Estates, Cedar Gate has traditionally used for their events. The next photos are my recreations, made with the same timeless vintage feel, but with my own attention to detail and handcrafted touch.

When I was first contacted, I was asked if I could recreate this classic design. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of creating it twice, and I’m incredibly excited to share that I’ll be partnering with Cedar Gates for their events next year!

As a small local baker, opportunities like this mean the world to me. Thank you to everyone at Cedar Gates for trusting me to be a small part of such a beautiful and historic venue. I truly can’t wait to create more cakes for your celebrations in the year ahead.

I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about a brown wedding cake, but I have to admit… I’m kind of obsessed with how it turned out. 🤎

I gave the buttercream a rustic finish around the edges to complement the earthy, woodland vibe, then finished it with fresh florals for a soft, elegant touch.

I’ve been a little MIA lately while settling my biological father’s estate. We didn’t have much of a relationship, so I’m okay—but it’s been a busy couple of weeks.

He didn’t have much, but tucked away was this beautiful KitchenAid Pro mixer. ❤️

I’d say it found the perfect new home.

The best part? I can finally make double batches of buttercream, which means less stopping to remix and more time decorating your cakes. 😍

I can’t wait to put her to work creating cakes and cupcakes for all of you! 🧁✨
