Hello!
So if you don't know...
Our building had a bit of a leak.

A water main on 50th decided to give up and flood the cafe.
The water ended up breaking through in the basement under us, part of the Paperback Exchange, and proceeded to fill the entire footprint of the building, flooding more than 2500 books, Terzo's prep kitchen and office space and flooding our space (on the ground level) with 18" of constantly flowing water. For about 5 hours.

The cafe is close for the time being, and our future is in the air.

We are fundraising to help our staff manage, cleanup and restore the space, and hopefully re-build!

Sparrow Cafe will be closed Thursday Feb. 23 2023.

Open today (22nd) until 2pm so you can come in & stock up on coffee and treats before the huge massive most perfect snowfall ever! Or if you’re just out looking for your lost ballon…

We will resume our regular hours (7am - 2pm) on Friday the 24th. Be well, drive safe and enjoy the winter wonderland!
