I’ve been playing around with my brown butter chocolate chip cookie recipe & I may have finally nailed my ideal cookie! Crisp edges, pockets of melted chocolate, and a center that stays gooey. 😍 Did I mention these are jumbo-sized, 4-inch cookies? I hope you’ll give one a try this weekend & let me know what you think!

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday! The event attendance was well beyond what all 3 vendors anticipated, and we all sold out early. I appreciate the support AND I know it’s disappointing if you weren’t able to pick up any treats!
For some context, it’s incredibly hard to plan inventory for events, especially a brand new event. Sunday afternoon and a forecast of hot and/or rainy weather? Those are all little factors that can mean people may not show up at all. And as you know, baked goods don’t stay fresh for long, so having unsold inventory is a big loss of time and money. As a cottage baker (and just one person!) it’s always a balancing act.

We hope to do this event again with even more vendors. Stay tuned! 💚
