I made this almond cake with raspberries for a friend’s birthday this weekend and it was such a hit I’m adding it to the September 20 market lineup! 💚 What else are you hoping to see on the menu?

Savory scones are joining the market lineup tomorrow! Filled with cheddar and scallions, these scones are tender and easy to snack on as you walk through the market. See you there!

Pre-orders close tomorrow (8/12)! If you’re like me, you always forget to plan ahead, but picture this: you order a 3-pack today, sleep in on Sunday, then pick up your bagels without worrying about sold out inventory. 😍 Sounds good, doesn’t it?? You can make it happen here:

Rhubarb swirl bars also available for pre-order (my personal fav!). Along with those items, I’ll have blueberry scones at the market on Sunday, plus one additional item you’re gonna love…

I’ve been playing around with my brown butter chocolate chip cookie recipe & I may have finally nailed my ideal cookie! Crisp edges, pockets of melted chocolate, and a center that stays gooey. 😍 Did I mention these are jumbo-sized, 4-inch cookies? I hope you’ll give one a try this weekend & let me know what you think!

Behold: the rhubarb swirl bars I can’t stop making. My rhubarb obsession won’t be stopped! 😂 Are you a rhubarb friend or foe?

Thanks to everyone who came out yesterday! The event attendance was well beyond what all 3 vendors anticipated, and we all sold out early. I appreciate the support AND I know it’s disappointing if you weren’t able to pick up any treats!
For some context, it’s incredibly hard to plan inventory for events, especially a brand new event. Sunday afternoon and a forecast of hot and/or rainy weather? Those are all little factors that can mean people may not show up at all. And as you know, baked goods don’t stay fresh for long, so having unsold inventory is a big loss of time and money. As a cottage baker (and just one person!) it’s always a balancing act.

We hope to do this event again with even more vendors. Stay tuned! 💚
