The Toasted Loaf, 8945 Bayard Road, Minerva, OH (2026)

Hi, I'm Alice Overholt and it has been my dream for a few years now to open up my own home based, brick oven bread bakery... Sometimes I can hardly believe that dream has come true! :)

Everything is baked in the beautiful, wood-fired brick oven that my dad built in my backyard. Check this page every Monday to see what your options are that week. Pickup times are posted Thurs morning. I will also

be at the Canton Farmer's Market every Sat from 8-11:30am. :)

All bread is sourdough, which means it contains no commercial yeast and is leavened simply with wild yeast from the air and grains.. You will definitely notice that you feel much better eating this bread. Your body is able to easily digest it, because of the long overnight rise and the sourdough starter which has broken down a lot of the gluten in the flour. The pastries are not naturally leavened and do contain commercial yeast. They are a delicious treat and are hand kneaded, rolled and shaped. Flavors will vary with the fruit that is in season. 👉I have some great news for you all! Brimfield Bread Oven will be taking my place once I leave. They have amazing products. All from scratch, brick oven, organic baked goods. You will still be able to get awesome bread! Yay! 🤗🤗
