🚧 Water Tower Painting Project Notice 🚧
The City of Minden's water tower will be painted over the next couple of weeks. Residents who live near the water tower are asked to move vehicles, trailers, outdoor furniture, and other property away from the area whenever possible.
The painting contractor will do its best to keep paint overspray to a minimum; however, as a precaution, residents are encouraged to move items away from the work area to avoid the possibility of overspray settling on them.
During this project, the water tower will be taken out of service, which will result in lower water pressure than normal throughout town.
To help maintain adequate water service, residents are asked to limit lawn watering to the hours of 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, beginning today and continuing through June 19, 2026.
Please note: This is not a water-use restriction. Residents may continue normal household water use. We are simply asking that lawn watering be done during the overnight hours to help manage demand while the tower is offline.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we complete this important maintenance project. Thank you for helping us ensure reliable water service for the community.
