Good evening friends! I hope all of you are well and my thoughts are with you this week, please prepare yourselves and be safe from the storms! 💕

I have a few announcements. FIRST, I had originally taken this week off to cater a wedding. Unfortunately, the venue has closed due to the upcoming storm. Completely reasonable. The bride and groom are understandably very disappointed and my heart aches for them. 🙁 That being said, I had already acquired all of the ingredients and started preparing. They are hoping to reschedule to a later date and I am luckily able to freeze the meats and save the non-perishable items. However, I do have an abundance of cheeses and produce that I will need to use up and will replace closer to their re-scheduled event. I also did already smoke pork butts and have that in my freezer now (luckily pulled pork tastes even better after it’s been defrosted and brought back to life, thank goodness!) so, after this storm passes, my plan is to make up “family pans” of several different sides, as well as the pulled pork to be available for anyone who would like to purchase. Pans will feed 4-6 people and will be $30 for the pulled pork pan and $25 for a pan of sides. Here are the pans I plan to offer Monday or Tuesday (barring any electricity issues):

-Pan of Pulled Pork w/ a side of Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce
-Pan of Mac & Cheese
-Pan of Lemon, Garlic & Dill Roasted Potatoes
-Pan of Cornbread Stuffing
-Pan of BBQ Baked Beans w/ Bacon, Peppers, Onions & Jalapenos (mild spice)
-Pan of Turnip Greens
-Pan of Apple & Jalapeno Cole Slaw (mild spice) *COLD*
-Pan of Buttermilk Dill Sweet Potato/Red Skinned Potato Salad *COLD*
-Pan of Broccoli Salad w/ Red Grapes, Red Onion & Bacon *COLD*

*I will update once the storm has passed with how many pans of each item I’ll have available and when I will have them available*

SECOND, my next market for my baked goods will be Hippiefest on Palafox in downtown Pensacola on Saturday, October 24th from 9am-6pm and I hope to see many of you there! 🙂

THIRD, I won’t be doing very many outdoor markets after Hippiefest but I’m so excited to be a part of Magnolia Dreams indoor market beginning in November. I will have my baked goods available at that location 5 days per week from 9am-6pm beginning sometime in November. We’re unsure of the exact opening day but I will definitely keep y’all updated!

We are all set up at The Market of Milton tonight! I am back and ready to go but it will be just for tonight as Im catering a wedding next week and so I won’t be back again until the following week! So, please come see me tonight and grab your favorites! 🙂

Hello my friends! I apologize for the long absence in posts. I can honestly say it’s been a long and trying past couple of weeks. I was extremely sick for a very long time and had a fever every day for a week straight, not to mention extremely awful symptoms that I won’t get into. During that time my freezer died and I lost several hundred dollars in ingredients and product and then my AC decided to stop working in the middle of it all. And, my husband is currently working offshore for 10 weeks. So, it’s been a little rough to say the least lol.

However, I am now fully recovered, I have a new freezer and my AC is working wonderfully thanks to my daughter’s boyfriend who is an AC/heating tech. I’ve fully deep cleaned and disinfected my house to make sure everything is safe for me to begin baking again and I am currently building back my inventory this week so that I can return to The Market of Milton and The Market of Pace next week fully prepared.

Thank you so much to those who checked in on me and for your patience. I’m so excited to see my fellow vendors and customers next week when I return!

Hi guys. I’m so sorry it’s taken me a while to update, I’ve really only just started to get a little energy back. If you went to market this morning I’m sure you noticed that I wasn’t there. Unfortunately, I am still down and out and I am still getting fevers so I’m pretty contagious which means there is no way that I can prepare anything right now until I’m symptom free for 48 hours and have disinfected my house. On top of all that I woke this morning to a beeping and apparently my freezer stopped working at some point over the last few days while I was in bed and all of my product that I can prep ahead (about 2-3 weeks worth) went bad. So we now have to get a repair person out and if it can’t be fixed hope that it’s still under warranty and can be replaced. Needless to say I may not be back to markets again for 1-2 weeks so that I can build up strength, get my freezer repaired/replaced, disinfect my house and remake everything I lost. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience if you were hoping to order. I will keep everyone updated. Take care for now! 🙂💕

Unfortunately I will not be at The Market of Milton this week. The flu got me and I’ve had a fever since last night so I haven’t been able to bake and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have any energy to set up tomorrow even if i would feel better. 🙁 I will keep y’all updated about Saturday!

Ya never know what you’ll run into at The Market of Pace…. I love our customers. 😂 Come out and see me and help me sell out! The tiny little rain shower we just had cooled us down a bit so now it’s an even better time to shop!
