Rosh Hashanah pre-orders are live at steelandrye.com/store! Our stunning braided challah and a new exciting apple cake topped with Dutch crumb and sliced apples. Pre-order through Thursday at 10am for pick up on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. And yes, we can send these to any farmers market you’d like to pick up from!

It’s hard to capture the beauty that is kouign amann. We’re adding this amazing pastry to our weekend line up, with a twist- cardamom! Originally from Brittany, a croissant dough layered with extra sugar so the inside and outside caramelizes - it’s like a croissant, but better. This one is a labor of love from our talented baking team 😍
An exciting addition from Chef Brian- housemade berry jam (more jams to come)! We take peak season blueberries and blackberries to make the jam and can them in house. Goes perfectly with our sourdough toast.

It’s time for your tomato summer! Spiced tomato and goat cheese danishes 🍅 Sastri made a delicious spiced tomato onion chutney with cumin, coriander, turmeric, and garam marsala- the croissant base is filled with chutney and topped with fresh marinated heirloom tomatoes and whipped goat cheese. You don’t want to miss this one!
Hi bakery friends, Tanya here. I’m breaking the fourth wall to bring attention to the absolute horror happening in Lahaina. My mom (S&R bakery’s biggest fan) and her family are from Maui and it has been horrific seeing the suffering and devastation from the wildfires. Both the ube and taro lattes were inspired by my childhood growing up in Hawaii. S&R will be donating proceeds for the next month from both of these drinks to relief funds for Maui. I will also be matching the donation from S&R. I hope you’ll join us.

Sweet danish is blueberry corn - we infuse the pastry cream with corn and corn cobs; local corn and blueberries from 🌽 the savory danish is spiced tomato and goat cheese - Sastri made a tomato onion chutney with warming spices, topped with local heirloom cherry tomatoes and whipped goat cheese. Both are SO GOOD.

While bulk fermenting, the sourdough gets folded 5-6x to build strength in the dough. Here’s our baker Tom doing just that!
