I know it’s been very quiet around here lately, and I wanted to let everyone know why.

Unfortunately, my cottage food permit expired in April, and I have been patiently waiting for the approval of my updated permit. As of today, 18 weeks later, my application is still listed as pending.

During this time, I haven’t been legally able to accept orders or bake for customers it’s been incredibly disappointing. I’ve missed creating fun cake pop designs, sharing new treats with all of you, and showing off some exciting additions I’ve been working on.

While waiting, I’ve had to miss:
3 vendor events
Countless special orders
Birthdays, graduations, and other special celebrations

I’m hoping my permit is approved soon so I can complete my inspections as quickly as possible and finally reopen. I can’t wait to get back in the kitchen creating spooky sweets and sharing them with all of you again!

Until then, I thought I’d share some of my favorite creations I’ve made over the years. Thank you for sticking with me—I promise I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Sonic speed + Shadow style 💙🖤

Had so much fun creating these custom Sonic & Shadow cake pops for a special birthday boy turning 6! Each pop was made to match the theme — including a custom number “6” cake pop to make the celebration even sweeter.

Want something unique for your next party? I can create custom number and shape cake pop cutters for any order — the possibilities are endless!

Reviews like this keep me doing what I do. This woman did not know me longer than 5 minutes, tasted my treats at my last event, and placed an order the following day for her daughter’s gender reveal.

I love that I can make special moments even more special. My customers trust me with their treats not because they taste well, but because I strive to make sure they’re perfect every time.

From my very first vending event to my most recent one, the growth has been unreal.
At the beginning, I was learning everything—what sells, how to talk to customers, and how to share my passion in a way that created future orders. Now, I step into events with confidence, experience, and a table full of treats I know people will love. Every event teaches me something new, and I’m so proud of how far Sweet Screams has come.

I’ve also created Instagram and TikTok accounts for Sweet Screams. Please follow the links and give me a follow! I’ll be using these other platforms to bring you along on this journey as a small business owner/baker.

My gears are going and I’m trying to concoct something fun for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I haven’t made cookie dunk or cake pop boxes in a while and would love to make something you and your families will enjoy around the holidays.

I’d love to hear from all of you guys what you would like me to offer for the upcoming holidays! Leave your suggestions in the comments 🖤

This weekend was nothing short of magical!
I had the honor of vending at Witch-Craft and it was an unforgettable experience. If you missed this year’s event, whether you’re a lover of craft beers or not, it’s an amazing time and you won’t be disappointed. The team at Good Time Tricycle did such an incredible job—everything was so well organized, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere was absolutely alive with Halloween spirit. 🎃🦇

From the creative costumes to the energy of the crowd, it truly felt like stepping into a spooky little world where everyone was there to celebrate and enjoy.

I also want to give the biggest shoutout to my bestie, Kirtie. Not only did she work her own job, but she still showed up both days to help me sell treats and keep things running smoothly. I honestly couldn’t have done it without her—she’s my rock, and I owe her the world.

Two long days, countless smiles, and so much sweetness later… I’m just feeling so grateful for the community, the love, and the support that made this weekend one to remember.

I pour my heart into my business and stand proudly next to my baked goods. I’m always concocting new ideas and love sharing my treats with everyone. The amount of feedback we received this weekend was heartwarming. From the compliments on my booth to how great my treats tasted all of it was overwhelmingly amazing. I am still in shock that I sold out of every treat I prepared. Thank you to everyone who continues to support me!
