The Great Council of the United States Improved Order of Red Men This is the Official page of the Great Council of the United States Improved Order of Red Men.

The definition of purpose of the Improved Order of Red Men and Degree of Pocahontas is to inspire a greater love for the United States of America and the principles of American liberty through its members linked together in a common bond of brotherhood and friendship and to help others through organized local charitable efforts with the national charitable effort directed to Alzheimer's research.

What a fantastic weekend on May 1-2, 2026, as we gathered for our annual pilgrimage to the Faith of Our Father’s Chapel on the sacred grounds of Valley Forge to rededicate the chapel and honor our departed members.
Our chapel is located on the beautiful Founding Forward campus, and we are grateful for their hospitality in hosting us.
We also had the chance to present our Annual Freedom Foundation Awards. These awards recognize a Pocahontas and Red Men member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, whether through their tribe/council or by participating individually in activities related to our principles. Congratulations to Loria Vainright, PGP of Silver Stream #48 from Winterville, North Carolina, and Sumner Hunnewell, PS of Miami Tribe #633 from Richmond, Indiana. Congratulations to these deserving recipients.
