Today turned out to be quite an ADVENTURE!! We knew my van was going to break down on me at some point, and I’m just glad it happened on a day when so many people were able to help!

Allied HVAC-you guys rock!! Tyler banged on my starter for 20 minutes determined to get my van to…start!! And Maxwell, you are the sweetest kid and I would like to adopt you.

My husband, Andy, got my text and immediately texted, ON MY WAY. We were able to transfer the tables, coolers, and cookies into the back of his truck and he found a ride back to work . And, Andy already had the van towed to Bollinger Auto so Landon can duct tape and super glue it back together. 😂😂😂I suppose we will spend some more money on my van that I love and is worth about $57.

Abigail and Allie live out my way and I knew they would pass my location on their way to market. They got a “help me” text and headed out ASAP! Everything else fit into their cars. Sorry I woke you up, Allie.😴

I’m sorry to the woman driving behind me when my trash can flew out of the truck on Jackson Boulevard. Oops.

As soon as I got to market, my fellow vendors (and Tory) SHOWED UP. Canopies and tables and bungee cords were flying every which way. And if you can believe it, we were ready to go when the bell rang at 9:00! It was a market MIRACLE!

Thank you you my customers for being patient with me and for Theresa telling me to “breathe.” You truly are amazing.❤️

I WILL be at market, but I’m having a hiccup. My van is at the ice place and won’t start. I have called in the calvary and hope to be there as soon as I can!!!

Tomorrow is the last day for cookies at the Cape Farmer's Market until the fall!

Cookie flavors will be:
Samoa-brown butter cookie with a chocolate bottom, homemade caramel mixed with coconut, and a chocolate drizzle

Dreamsicle-orange cookie with orange buttercream and an orange drizzle

Drumstick-vanilla cookie with candy cone pieces, vanilla buttercream, and a peanut and chocolate garnish

S’mores-brown butter cookie with milk chocolate and graham crackers, topped with homemade marshmallow fluff

Caramel Peanut Butter Crunch-peanut butter cookie with a caramel buttercream, topped with salty pretzel crunch and drizzled with caramel

Banana Pudding-banana cookie with white chocolate and caramel chips, drizzled with a vanilla glaze and butter cookies

Cinnamon Pop Tart-vanilla bean cookie filled with a brown sugar cinnamon filling and topped with a brown sugar cinnamon glaze

The Chocolate Churro Cookie will be at the Cape Farmer's Market on Thursday. I’ll be bringing more cookies than last time (hoping I don’t run out)!

Chocolate Churro is a browned butter cinnamon cookie rolled in cinnamon and sugar and topped with a homemade fudge sauce swirled with cinnamon buttercream.
