You know we make scones, right?! And cookies? Today we have cranberry orange, blueberry lemon, triple chocolate, cherry almond, and coconut scones. The cookies pictured are chocolate shortbread, pumpkin dark chocolate ( we call them Taylor’s cookies 💛), and Jodi’s Oatmeal Harvest🤗 Plus we have lots more! We are open; stop by on your way!😊

We consider ourselves professional bakers, but first and foremost, we are a ( big) family! ( check yesterday’s post. Calvin is the oldest of our 10 grandchildren. Arlo is in the middle, and one of four born the same year!)
Today, my grandson, Arlo, is representing the Scouts, and asking for a $20 donation, in exchange for a bag of popcorn 🤗. As a bonus, anyone who comes in the bakery with a bag of popcorn gets a ten percent discount!! Off of everything- including the delicious cupcakes Jodi made this week! 😊 We are open! Stop by!!

It may be my favorite thing about Milford. The quintessential Small Town Homecoming Parade❤️ First, there is my grandson, Calvin, nominated for Homecoming King🎉👑! (And employee of Fortunata’s 🤗) No, that’s not first. First is everyone showing up, kids playing football and soccer, and the Milford police and the Carlisle Fire Company blocking off Walnut Street and Rehoboth Boulevard! And first is my husband, Don, getting situated with a delicious Cuban smash sandwich, made with one of our huge torta rolls. The parade has a fire truck, floats made by the different classes ( with different amounts of effort…), flatbeds pulling kids of all ages from the Milford School District- along with their teachers😊- , and all the nominees for king and queen of the Homecoming Court! Plus the High School Band - with the dancers and drum line. And i think i forgot to mention the cheerleaders. We got there at 5 and we were home by 6:15. I think most people go to watch the football game😊 You should go next year!!

First and foremost! St John’s in Milford is having their annual Oktoberfest this weekend! And we supply over 1000 rolls for the event! Points and small points. Check it out!!🤗🍻🌭Then, here’s me! I just got back from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and it was great 😊 I went to a rodeo ( hence the quasi western wear;, Banff National Park ( absolutely beautiful);and indulged in crème brûlée French toast ( everything we ate was delicious!) Since I was away, whooping it up, Patrick had to take care of everything, and so he limited our items. Bread and rolls are our first priority. We have plenty of scones and cookies( thank you Leslie!), and some cupcakes and biscotti ( thank you Jodi!) No sticky buns or Danish🙂Stop by😊

You are looking at 150 pounds of the 300! pounds of dough the nanticokeindiantribe is picking up for their annual PowWow at Hudson Fields-just for today!! They make The Most delicious fried bread with it, along with a bunch of other yummy items, plus all kinds of activities 😊Tomorrow they get a whole fresh batch. You have today and tomorrow to experience something truly fun while being educated and well fed! P.S. We open at 8😊

It’s Sherry Blessing from Mule Run Meats ! She’s picking up fresh hotdog and pub rolls - which go so well with all the hot dogs and ground meats they sell🤗 ( Have you been there? They are a great shop for all sorts of meats and produce! ….and Fortunata rolls and pizza dough!)It’s Labor Day Weekend! Place an order to make sure your BBQ is perfect. Could it be?! Armand’s figs are ripening!?! I guess that means today I will have Fig and Blue Cheese Focaccia 😊. I won’t have much today, but the figs are coming in fast and furious, so we will have the fig focaccia for a couple of weeks 🤗. It’s Sunday☀️ We open at 8 am!

Today we had an order for 100 boccettes, 100 sweet n’ salty, and 8 baguettes for a wedding reception! The man doing it owns the newly opened Jewel Sandwich Shop in Harrington. ( For you early risers - they open at 5:30am!!) It’s a beautiful day, and it looks like it will be a delicious reception! Remember: we can take big orders, as long as you give us a few days. Todd ordered last week, and we really appreciated that!
