Coming soon. MORE SEATING.
We are flip flopping The Pantry and the cafe seating. We’ll keep all of your favorite things about The Pantry. Just gonna put them where we currently have cafe seating. All seating will move to The Pantry side. This will double our seating space and allow me to bring back in our large farmhouse tables so that we can handle large groups again.
When we opened, we had lots of seating. Then Covid happened, and I turned half of the seating into The Pantry. I love the pantry. And you guys do too. So I’ve figured out how to put all that stuff on the bakery side and make lots of seating on the pantry side. I’m very excited about this project. I wish I could start it today lol it’s gonna take a little bit of time. It’s also gonna be a little bit messy in there for a couple months, but, will be open as usual.

I caught these little cuties getting a photo taken by my mural today. Oh my heart. They were precious. Thank you from all of us at life is sweet for a wonderful Easter season. We will be on a little break and we’ll see you next Saturday. 🩵🍪🩵

I’m about to give you a list of what you can expect from us for Friday and Saturday of this Easter weekend

Beautiful seasonal croissants
Puff pastries
Cookies
🐰 In our personal dessert case you will find:
Fruit topped cheesecakes
Easter themed cakelets
Fruit tarts
Cannolis
Eclairs
Keylime pies
🐰 In our grab and go, you’ll find:
Spinach dip
Pimento dip
House made pie dough crackers
Sauerkraut and kielbasa with potatoes
My favorite thing ever orange Jell-O salad lol
🐰 In our circle dessert case you’ll find:
A lemon meringue pie
Coconut cream pie
Strawberry and pretzel cheesecake pie
Chocolate cream pie
Cherry cheesecake pie
Blueberry cheesecake pie
Dutch apple pie
🐰 Of course we have all of your favorite cookies, Easter themed and otherwise
🐰 We will have lots of sourdough loaves
And of course, when you’re stopping by, hopefully you plan on having lunch because our deli with our hot and toasty sandwiches all made on our delicious house made breads will be open.
We are open Friday 8 AM until 7 PM and Saturday 9 AM until 5 PM. We are closed Sunday through the following Friday. We will reopen next Saturday at 9 AM.
Oh, and of course you’ll find these cute little dessert cups available in our circle case and they will be lemon with cream cheese and meringue, and a chocolate mousse with whip and ganache. All this and more available till sell out.

Please help a girl out. This Easter, are you coming for cookies, bread, pastries, our personal sized desserts, or small pies? Or are you coming for all of it?
New this year. We will be closed Easter, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Myself, Jessie, Keith and my husband Ken are going on a little vacay. The shop does not run without us. We’re just gonna take a little trip and we’ll be right back reopening on Saturday and Sunday of course.
We are open all of our regular hours this week, which is Tuesday through Friday 8 AM until 7 PM Saturday 9 to 5

Our rolls are 2 for $6 on Tuesdays. This week I’m filling the 9 windows with some fabulous flavors. Here’s my lineup
Lemon meringue
Chocolate filled with a coffee glaze
Spinach and feta with butter and Parm on top
Cheesy garlic with more butter and garlic on top
Corned beef and Swiss
Boston cream
Our famous for us, pepperoni pretzel 
Our daily cinnamon with maple icing
And for the Easter season, let’s do a carrot with cream cheese icing.

I’m not sure if you had one of my “pop tarts” yet. But, I am sure that you need to. They are OMG amazing! I usually make about 16 a day and they usually sell out. I made some homemade pineapple mango jam on Monday and wow, yum. We are in love. The butter, the layers. Perfect.

I have a very important question. Are you going to be looking for pies on Saturday, March 14? Last year on “ pie day”, we sold 150 of our 5 inch pies/tarts. Everything feels a little weird and upside down this year and I’m just not sure about how many to make. Tell me please, in the comments if you think you’re coming for a pie and what your favorite is? Or if you’re probably just coming for your regular lunch and pastries?
