The bakery will be closed for one week while I step away for routine medical treatment related to Multiple Sclerosis.
While I’m away from the oven, I’d love to use this moment to share a little bit about what MS is and how you can help others living with this condition.
Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. It disrupts the flow of information within the brain, and between the brain and body. Because the symptoms vary so widely from person to person—ranging from fatigue and mobility challenges to vision issues—it is often referred to as an "invisible" illness.
In lieu of bread orders this week, I would be so grateful if you considered supporting the National MS Society. They do incredible work funding research for a cure and providing resources for the nearly 1 million people living with MS in the United States.
