There are 5 days left in the Courage Campaign for Dialysis Care Bags. This was something that the Bingo VIPs and I have been working on over the past year at thirty-one Bingo. We have collected several items for the bags. We still need fleece blankets and water bottles but the majority of other items have been collected. Now it's time to buy the bags. You can sponsor a bag for $55. The cost to sponsor includes a Navy Dancing Dot Essentials Storage Tote embroidered with a green Care Ribbon and the word Courage and another Essentials Storage Tote just for you and you even pick the print.
My goal is to deliver 20 filled bags to the dialysis center the first week in November.
If you have the means to sponsor a bag, even if you dig deep, would you please consider the cause?
These simple care bags will bless the life of a dialysis patient and mean so much to them.

Studio day!!!! It's only the third time this year, there's a lot to accomplish!

So here's the "after" pics. I was totally shocked that they held up with how hard throwing pots is on the hands! A couple of the tips got filed more from touching the wheel and the clay totally drew all moisture out of my hands (nothing new 😉) but all wraps are still intact today. I spent 3.5 to 4 solid hours producing pieces. I plan on producing more this weekend as well. I'm totally excited that I can have cute nails when I want them even though I'm as hard on my hands as I am!

My good friend Sara JacobsCarter gave me my very first Jamicure today! She is a fabulous Jamberry consultant. There are so many awesome choices for the wraps that the possibilities are endless. I am a potter and will be spending the day tomorrow in my studio with my hands covered in clay. What better way to test these babies out? With normal wear they will last up to 2 weeks on your fingers and up to 6 on your toes so it will be so cool to see how they stand up to the clay.
