I’ve been working on a fun summer setup idea and I think these Watermelon Mini Sessions would be so cute 🍉☀️

Vintage truck + watermelon + golden summer sunsets + your little ones running around and smiling the whole time 📸🍉 These would be the sweetest summer memories to capture.

Tell me I’m not the only one obsessed with this setup 🍉👀

People ask me all the time, how are Daniel and Terra doing. My response is always the same; From what I see; remarkably well. They have been so strong through all of this and there have been so many beautiful moments. Although I know their hearts are grieving, they have managed to channel their grief in so many positive ways. I am so proud of them and can’t wait to see how God will continue to use them through this very heartfelt movement of “Show Kind" Kids.Igniting.New.Dreams. Please continue to keep them in your prayers and stay tuned as I will share updates as it progresses. 💙💙

Today was healing. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of our journey we have walked and the kindness that has been shown through it. Daniel and I have said countless times, there is very little that truly matters in this world but being kind, matters. In July, Dan and I sat in front of doctors who played out what life would look like if Knox were to live his days on earth. One of the things that stuck with me is the comment that he wouldn’t “live the dream of playing sports.” I remember looking at the doctor and saying, that’s ok, he will probably show livestock anyway. I questioned many times why sports are always held so high and the first thought as “the American dream.”
When Knox passed away in November, I began my journey of healing and searching for how we could continue to spread the kindness that was shown to us.
The idea and ( future non-profit) of “Show Kind” Kids.Igniting.New.Dreams, was born.
The goal of awarding livestock showman when showing kind, helping others, or creating a space for youth to have new dreams.
Today was all of that. It was a beautiful moment watching my livestock showman help others learn how to show. Kindness is contagious and I can’t wait to see it ignite one show at a time.
P.S Thanks to my awesome Ag squad, admin, and custodial staff that didn’t flinch at the thought of bringing the show ring inside. Who also helped set -up and take down!
