INTRODUCING THE SUMMER SPRAY DOWN!

The Middletown Division of Fire is excited to help you cool off this Summer with the Summer Spray Down.

Our firefighters get a lot of requests for our trucks to appear at birthday parties, block parties, schools, daycare facilities, etc. We enjoy connecting with our residents but, the Division of Fire is no longer able to fulfill individual requests for our trucks to make stops around town. Our Firefighters/Paramedics are extremely busy, making hundreds of runs each month, keeping you and your family safe, but we have a solution.

We're going to continue to provide the same level of firehouse fun on a set schedule. This Summer Spray Down schedule allows us to make planned stops across the entire city to help you keep it cool. This schedule also ensures we get to spend equal time with residents all over Middletown.

👀 NO COOKIES TODAY!! I want talk about my favorite magnolia tree!

🌸What you don’t know is when I am not baking, I love spending time in the garden and one of my favorite things to tend to is my magnolia tree. It was really suffering earlier this spring. Honestly, I was concerned that it may not make it. I took a chance and trimmed many of the brown leaves off, treated it with some fertilizer and anti fungal spray. I have been keeping an eye on it and noticed this week the bright healthy green leaves were coming back. Then this morning - I was so happy to see that it’s going to bloom!! I think it’s going to make a comeback!!

☔️ A little love and patience is all it needed ~ and a lot of rain!!

🚔Happy National Police Week! 🚔

🛑 Let me introduce you to the man that does it all! From serving our community to rolling the dough, he never hesitates to lend a hand. When he off duty he becomes the official “Baker’s Man.” From hauling the heavy flour, prepping for a big order or being a taste tester (his favorite job), I couldn’t do this without him.

🚦When we’re not surrounded by cookie cutters and baking trays, we enjoy spending our time traveling, hitting the golf course and spending time with our four grandchildren.
