What is good food without good wine 🍷🤔
Before I left Lake County I had the pleasure of getting to visiting Wild Diamond 💎 Vinyards, located just north of Hidden Valley Lake off of Spruce Grove Rd.
We have such a splendid variety of great wines in Lake County. Some of my favorites are Fults Family, Six Sigma, Shedhorn, Boatique, LaJour, Gregory Graham, and Wild Diamond is just another great addition!
They have 9 different varietals, although I don't think I could survive trying them all at one tasting. I did very much enjoy the Albarino (Moon Tears), Grenache (Dumb Luck), and Mourvedre.
They're new tasting room should be opening by the beginning of June and boasting gorgeous views of South Lake County. Currently they are doing vineyard tastings along with a tour around the vineyard to book give them a call at 707-353-5350 or DM them on social and enjoy!

On my way back from Red's I just had to stop by Peace and Plenty Farm off of Soda Bay Rd. In Kelseyville!
Fresh produce, eggs and unique finds like saffron honey 🍯
Definitely worth a stop if your in the area, or if you aren't and are looking for somewhere cool in lake county give them a visit!
Side note: you most likely won't encounter a cashier as this is an honor system farm stand so please bring cash, or check, venmo or paypal is also accepted.

Reds @ the sky room is definitely a place I wish I had more time to visit. Such a cool place and unique location. Getting to watch the planes take off from their patio is definitely an added bonus to their delightful menu. Please make sure to read their menu carefully and take your time, there is hidden gems throughout it that will make you burst out laughing 😅
This visit I had the firecracker shrimp and man it sure was delicious. Previously I've had their zombie fries and holy cow 🤤 they are definitely crave worthy! I might just have to go back for those one last time!
I also had one of their signature cocktails "the mile high club"
Dolce Vida tequila, malibu, 🍓 puree, house sweet and sour, and mango dusted rim ♥ yahs so good!

Craving some ice cream?
Don't pass up the C&E Corner Creamery in Lakeport.
I had such a blast here while stopping In after my visit to Juicy's.
Definitely another lake county gem 💎
The owner John happened to be there while I stopped in. And it sure is a small world 🌎 we caught up talking about our same home town 🏜 and culinary experiences.
They have been there for about 3 years now. And C&E stands for Cora & Emma which are John and his husband's neices.
John is also a culinary instructor at the college and even employs some of his students at the creamery.

They have an amazing amount of flavors and toppings from standard to the very unique.

I decided on the Taro (taste like the buttered popcorn jelly bean) with Marshmallow fluff and chocolate sauce.
Other unique flavors included
Mushroom 🍄 (This one took me by surprise, worth a taste.)
Ginger
Candy store floor 🍬🍫🍭(14 different kinds of candy)
Bubblegum (with actual gumballs)
Mulberry sorbet
Maui waui- raspberry, passion fruit, and mango 🥭
The list goes on but they also have root beer float, Sundaes 🍨 and Boba teas!

Anyone else get excited when they hear someone talking about Juicy's pizza...or is it just me 😜
Hands down favorite pizza place in Lake County!
I usually am pretty plain when it comes to pizza and get their delicious little pepperoni's, but I went outside my comfort zone on this one! I don't regret it one bit.
I ordered the Bow Chika Wow Wow- Chipotle pesto sauce, mozzarella, roasted 🍅, bacon crumble, with a basil ranch swirly on a gluten free crust!
Also ordered a strawberry rhubarb seltzer from 🤤
Let's just say I was in heaven 😇
Juicy's is definitely worth the drive from south lake county!
They are open Wednesday-Saturday 3-8 and are located right by Library Park.

Side note: Two B Robb always makes my Juicy's visits extra special! He is the cherry to the Sundae 🍨

Wondering what to have for lunch or dinner today? Every weekday is a good day for La Parilla. This family run restaurant is definitely a south lake county staple.
This is another place they know me by name, and Jennifer who has worked there for 3 years knows exactly what I order.
But yesterday I decided to go outside of my comfort zone. I asked Johnathan (the owner) what some of his favorite dishes are?
I ended up settling on the Enchiladas Mole Palbano with a squeeze of lime. I was not disappointed. It was exactly what I've been looking for. And then I was sad I haven't ordered it before today.
Explore their menu a bit and find which dish sings to your soul 🎶🥰
FYI- these dishes are a combination of different regional cuisines found throughout mexico and may not be what you expect from a traditional American influenced Mexican restaurant. Which makes this La Parilla so special.
☆Tip: try the habenero sauce, if you like it spicy!

Highlighting another local staple in Middletown for Day 2!
I've joked with people before that I don't think I could live here if Buddha Thai was gone. But the more and more Jo remembers my exact order, the more and more that statement no longer becomes a joke.
I know I am not alone when it comes to my love of Buddha Thai. Everytime I go, they are busier than the time before. Which I could not be happier to see.

If you want the best fresh handmade tortillas around, go visit Yadira off Main Street in Lower Lake. It is her 2nd year in business. She has fresh half flour, half corn tortillas that are still warm when purchased. For an astonishing $2.25 for a 25 pack. Do yourself a favor and make taco night even better. She also carries fresh chips and regular corn tortillas.

I wanted to start with our local staples. is definitely a staple. Opened in Middletown in 1992 and 3 generations later, still going strong!
There is something for everyone here!
