Some restaurants and food co-ops are donating a percentage of sales on a certain day (this Thursday, 10/7, is a big one), while some are donating a flat amount with shoppers' support all month long.

HOORAY! After a hiatus of many months due to the pandemic, HOPE is once again offering surplus baked goods, produce and miscellaneous items 5 days a week!! This is possible thanks to the generosity of Otter Creek Bakery, Hannaford Supermarkets, and Shaw's Supermarket. If you need food, please visit us or give a call when you’re at our building. Often we have additional surplus items available to add onto food shelf orders!

Just visited OCB while on my Saturday errands, picked up the breakfast panini to go. Delish! Crisp not greasy, a burst of flavors! How they manage to produce the shear volume and variety of artful and yummy products is hard to imagine. Over the years I've been a customer I'm continually amazed by how hardworking and prolific these artisan/artists are. If your'e traveling through Middlebury, do stop! You will not be sorry.
