JahAsia and Grey’s cake from Saturday was a cuuuutie patootie! 2 tiers of raspberry cake filled with lemon curd and finished with classic vanilla buttercream, wowza!

Only two 2026 dates left, and my books for 2027 are now open! ❤️🍰🍋

A little refresh around here! ☀️

Thistle & Honey has been sloooowly shifting into something that feels a lot more like the cakes I actually love making — soft buttercream, seasonal flavors, nostalgic details, and designs that feel fun and playful without trying too hard to be something they’re not.

Part of that shift meant moving away from the old image-based branding (bye *literal* thistles!) and into something that feels warmer, brighter, a little more like summer at the lake, and a LOT more like me.

Over the next few weeks, you’ll see new cake flavors, more BTS of wedding cakes, and a reimagining of the weekly treat box (stay tuned for how you can help with this).

Still small batch. Still made in my home kitchen in Middlebury. Still probably thinking about new cake flavors and floating in the lake most of the time.

Can you believe graduation season is nearly upon us?! Every year I am taken by surprise that it’s time, but this year I’m ready for it! And most importantly, I’m ready to make your graduation cakes! 🎓

In an effort to have a more calm and organized experience for all, I’ve created a ☀️limited grad menu☀️ on my site with an order form alongside it. We are going for EASE and JOY this time around, not chaos and burnout (which I am quite famous for bringing upon myself as a people-pleaser 😅).

It’s the return of the COOKIES! This week’s box contains 6 cookies, and there are gluten-free boxes available too! The details:

🍪 Each box is $15, payable via Venmo

🍪 Flavors include: lemon thumbprint, chocolate chip, white chocolate sprinkle, maple oat, coffee cake, and snickerdoodle

🍪 There are only FIVE gluten-free boxes available. Please know that due to the volume of regular wheat flour used on a daily basis, these GF cookies are not safe for celiac/severe allergies.

🍪 Orders open now, Sunday 4/12 and close TUESDAY 4/14 at noon

🍪 As always, boxes will be delivered to Sparrow Art Supply for you to retrieve on Wednesday 4/15 during their open hours of 10:30-5:30. 🚨PLEASE REMEMBER🚨 that if you do not pick your box up during their open hours on WEDNESDAY, the staff gets to take the box home. Them’s the rules, always have been.

Alright friends, the first treat box of April is CAKE! 4” Easter vibed cakes, to be specific.

🥕Cake flavor is carrot with vanilla buttercream and caramel drizzle, with some festive Easter egg candies. Oh, and it’s NUT FREE!

✨A reminder that this is the ONLY Easter-adjacent special that I’ll be offering this year! Nothing against the Easter bunny, but I’ll be out of office the end of the week! ❤️

With St. Patrick’s Day falling on a Wednesday this year, it obviously was meant to be the inspiration for this coming week’s treat box! What’s inside:

- Guinness chocolate snack cake
- Grasshopper brownie (sweet mint buttercream and chocolate ganache)
- Shamrock sugar cookies
- Marshmallow Lucky Charms bars
- Apple crumble bar

The treat box this week is $25, payable via Venmo (ThistleAndHoneyBaking, under Businesses). Orders are open NOW (Saturday) through Monday, closing at 5pm. All boxes will be delivered to Sparrow Art Supply on Wednesday 3/17 for you to pick up during their open hours of 10:30-5:30. All of these specifics can be found in the treat box highlight as well!

Sweet friends, it’s that time again—treat boxes! This week’s treat is a Midd-themed MINI CAKE, to celebrate the absolutely incredible wins by and from the first round of NESCAC playoffs yesterday! 💙🤍

The mini cake is blueberry cake with vanilla buttercream & lemon curd. Blue & white Midd pride with a dash of spring vibes! 🫐🍋

The cakes are $10/each, paid via Venmo—check the “treat box” highlight for specifics!
