So we have some news...
Over the past 8 1/2 years, we've been able to service the community and surrounding towns, which I have absolutely loved.
We've made it from starting with seasonal events, opening a small storefront on South Main Street with a home kitchen, and growing into a full service operation on Wareham Street.
When the pandemic hit, we never shut down. We started offering flour and yeast for sale to the home bakers and created a wholesale bread business when the wedding cakes, walk-ins, and special orders suffered under new regulations.
Between wholesale bread and augmented numbers for walk-ins and events, we made it through the pandemic.
Unfortunately, prices have continued to rise and no longer make wholesale feasible for our microbusiness.
We are going to have to close our doors.
I want to thank every single customer and supporter over the past 8 1/2 years that made our endeavor possible.
We will be at one last event, the Saturday, July 23rd Sip'n'Stroll from 5-8 pm, where we will have our bread, scones, cookies, and more, available for one last time.
I absolutely love this town I grew up in, and will continue to volunteer my time to help in any way possible.
Please continue to support your local small businesses which are always first to donate to small town causes and employ so many of our residents.
We hope to see you on Saturday, and thank you again; we couldn't have made it this far without you.
