A simple but beautiful wedding cake for a special couple 💒
The picture wasn’t terribly clear but I hope I nailed it. The top tier is covered in dusting sugar.. it looks like snow ❄️
ABC frosting (American Butter Cream, lol) and also for the “lace detail” ❤️
The top is French vanilla and the bottom is a delicious chocolate fudge flavor 🥰
The flower is handcrafted out of gum paste. Because it was only one flower I was able to really focus the attention to detail and I think it came out spectacular 😍😍😍 One of my best yet!!

Start to finish (except the flower, that was made a week ago) this took all day ☺️ There can be a lot of down time with cakes waiting on stages and steps to complete, lol

Preston & Brooklyn turn 4!!!!! 😱
The only direction I had for the twins was Brooklyn loves princesses 👸 and Preston loves construction 🚧
I hope they both enjoy their cakes tomorrow.

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve shared any cakes but this one is worthy of a post 😁
The first picture was the inspiration.
The second picture was my spin on the inspiration and the third is a smash cake for the little guy.
Someone special is turning ONE today!!! He’s having a Mickey themed party. I hope his parents love the end result 😁 This was a hard cake to do lol.

A special little girl is turning 5 today and requested this exact cake. I added a real bow to the topper for her to keep ☺️
White cake loaded with sprinkles, rainbow frosting technique and a white chocolate ganache drip. I hope the Birthday girl loves her cake!! ❤️

I made a small replica of their original wedding cake from 20 years ago and surprised them with it ❤️
I had the topper custom made from Etsy so she can save it forever 🥰🥰

Aaaaaand it’s done!! I had to change the support for the cake as I could no longer do hidden suspension with my injury 😕
I’m bummed a bit that you can see the support but it is what it is. I think it came out great for my first 3-D cake. This is one heavy cake let me tell you!! And I sincerely hope EJ and his family and friends love it as well ☺️
What do you think John Rea? I hope I did you justice!!

Sooo... this is what happened last Saturday while on vacation...
Really wasn’t in my grand scheme of things to fracture my thumb and yet here I am. I have cakes and cupcakes due this Saturday. In this business you find a way to get things done. People still need the cakes they ordered for their celebrations. I have my most difficult cake due today. It’s a 3-D 18 wheeler made to look like the customers truck. I wasn’t able to do exactly what I planned on doing thanks to this injury, but I still got the job done!!

Decided to do a trial run for the Woodland theme baby shower coming up.
I decided to make a dummy cake for myself... since I hate cake and I would never be able to cut this cutie up ☺️
Considering this is my first attempt at a tree stump cake I think it came out adorable!! So happy with the technique and final result. The real cake will look amazing!! ❤️

Cake #2 is done. Ther Birthday Boy is a Coors Light man and that’s all the info I got, lol
I knew right away I wanted to keep it simple but impressive, so I decided to try my hand using isomalt... and it worked great for hiding the suspension and creating the “splash” of the beer dumping out. ☺️

The little gamers cake is done!! All ready for his birthday tomorrow!!
Because the controller is the star of this cake I didn’t want to add too much more to it.
The inside is marble. This is 1/2 sheet cake and it’s quite heavy, lol.

I have a baby shower cake coming right up with a “Woodland“ theme. I made this Fox and the mushrooms out of fondant. The Fox is the cake topper and the mushrooms go around the “tree stump” I’m creating out of the cake with a few other touches 😁
How’d I do. Is he cute? Did I nail it? First time crafting a Fox 🦊
I cannot wait to see this cake all together!! ❤️

Birthday cake for a young man who loves to sketch and play the keyboard. There are even edible sketches inside the sketch book that I made.
The humidity is fighting me hard with this one 🥺
I’m going to point out the humidity flaw that I have zero control over and take money off this cake. For me, it’s not about the money. It’s about making someone smile and being proud of my work.
It would’ve been perfect if there was no humidity yesterday and today... ::sigh::

I’ve had so many inquiries and I’m grateful to you all for helping me achieve my dream. 🙏🙏🙏.
The common question seems to be pricing. My cakes are all custom, and 99.9% completely edible. I’m a one girl show and certain things take time to achieve. All my cakes (except smash cakes) start at $55.00. They go up depending on exactly what you want and what materials I use to create decorations etc.
To some that seems pricey.. but I’m not a supermarket buying bottom level ingredients for mass production. I’m an artist. I use good, quality ingredients right down to the eggs that come fresh that day from my daughters hens ❤️ Some things take hours and hours to create, while others are easier and quicker, buti won’t know what you want until you ask ☺️ Because I am only one person, ideally I’d like 2 weeks advance notice minimum (I have some orders placed now that are months away)
This allows me to create everything by hand that I need to for your ultimate confection ☺️
I’m booked solid right now through the second week of June, and July is almost full. August and September are starting to book with me as well. If you know you would like a cake for an occasion coming up, I’d love to chat and see if I could accommodate your request. It’s never too early, lol.

Made this for a little gamers Birthday cake!! It’s made out of Rice Crispy Treat’s covered in fondant. The “cord” is a piece of black licorice inserted into the “controller”..

Among Us for a special little boys 7th birthday 🥳
I airbrushed the cake to resemble outer space and the “aliens” are created out of fondant.
It’s a triple chocolate cake with chocolate frosting between the layers ☺️

Pretty happy with this one. It’s for a special lady’s birthday. I didn’t really want to theme it out but I wanted it to stand out so I did ombré rosettes around the cake and then topped them with handmade sugar roses, leaves and butterflies. The butterflies were airbrushed and then the black detail was painted in by hand.
I think this cake came out super pretty. I hope the Birthday girl thinks so too 🥳

Succulents are the new trend for 2021.
My daughter will be having a baby shower this summer and this goes perfectly with the theme. I now know what I will do to the cupcakes ❤️
Off to create more varieties ☺️
*Created using gum paste and then highlighting and detailing using my edible luster dusts and some very soft brushes. Steamed to seal the colors in place.

Making roses today.. trying a couple different ways using a 50/50 ratio of fondant and gum paste. The gum paste gives the fondant a bit more elasticity and mobility for shaping and dries a bit harder and quicker than just straight fondant.
This particular one is wireless. Once dried I’ll add some luster dust to them for a little subtle sparkle and dimension 🌹
