10/09/26🏈💙✨ Today was homecoming for our city. Alex and I had the privilege to walk in the parade again this year alongside our kids and their classmates. We stayed and watched the first half of the game, saw this year’s Queen and King get crowned, and enjoyed the marching band’s performance before we had to head back home to take care of all the animals.
Sometimes I think about how much we try to balance family, work, the farm, the animals, the kids’ activities, and everything in between. There are so many things that need our attention every single day, and sometimes it feels like there simply aren’t enough hours in the day. But tonight was a good reminder that life is also about making time to stop and be part of the moments you’ll look back on someday.
We may have had to leave before the game was over and head home for evening chores, but honestly, I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. ♥️
