Ildi’s bakery is closing.
This is going to be a bittersweet post. I started my small home bakery over two years ago with a mission of baking excellent quality pastries and cakes from excellent quality ingredients. I was blessed with a lot of sweet returning customers, a lot of amazing feedback, and the best part was being in spirit at family holidays with my sweets.
Currently the prices are rising so fast that I should change my prices weekly. Quality ingredients got so expensive that I would have to sell my products at a price I would not pay.
I had so much pleasure in this bakery, but it’s also a lonely job. I am missing working with inspiring people.
I got a fantastic opportunity in Tampa, and I am returning to the corporate field after 5 years of being at home with my children. I am grateful that this opportunity came across at the perfect moment when I started to feel that baking in this form is not sustainable.
I am relocating to Tampa with my family the second part of August. Baking is still my passion, and I’ll keep this account and will still share some content, but you won’t be able to order from me. I want to thank all my customers from the bottom of my heart for all the orders, the feedback, the kindness, and sometimes the patience that I got in these more than two years.
