We still have a lot of goodies for you to bring for your holiday celebrations, and we wanted to update you on our hours! Good news, we are opening tomorrow 8-12 at both locations!

On this rare Monday open, Arlington will be open for drip coffee, tea, preorder pickup, and last minute Christmas orders. We will not have any pastries available, sorry!

At Belmont, we will be open for our full coffee bar of drinks, including lattes, and minimal pastries. We will have walk up Christmas items, and preorder pickup available. Sorry, no sandwiches!

Christmas Eve we are adjusting our hours at both locations, and we will close Christmas and the following days.

Wow, we have been open of one year in Belmont! Thank you everyone for your support. Opening one small business is a feat…opening two? It’s a whole nother beast! We’ve learned so much this year, and we are constantly working to be better. We love you, and are so grateful for everyone who walks through our doors each day. FREE cake today at Belmont!!! Christmas is here at Butternut! Our menu is live, and we have a longer pickup window this year! ❄️

Our showstopper is a seasonally-decorated Black Forest Gataeu 🎄

We will also have an assortment of other desserts and party favors - stollen, ginger spice cake with cream cheese frosting, assorted cookie boxes, a tea cake gift basket, and morning buns and pastries for Christmas morning.

We close at 2pm today at both locations. Come grab your last minute treats! We have pumpkin & pecan pies, as well as pear almond galettes in limited supply! We also have a very limited selection of biscuit boxes for your table or dessert with our vanilla bean whipped cream. We still have some stuffing kits, croissant croutons, pumpkin oat loaf cakes, and paprika butter. See you soon! 🦃

Rosh Hashanah preorders are live! We have round challah with or without raisins, a seeded wreath braided challah, and apple cake! Preorder now for pickup at either Arlington or Belmont.

Pickup will be October 2nd from 10:30am - 4pm.

The Fathers Day Frank is new and improved! An all beef Nathan’s hot dog in a croissant with everything bagel seasoning on it 🌭

Th Dad Pie is back! Chocolate Mousse Cream Pie on buttercrumb crust w/ whipped cream & topped with shaved chocolate 🍫 preorder this perfect dessert for your barbecues!

We will also be upgrading our Father’s Day Franks - All beef Nathan’s hot dog with caramelized onions in a croissant topped with everything seeds. (Walk up orders only)

Butternut turns 5 today!

It has been an absolutely wild year for us, and we are thrilled to celebrate with our neighbors, regulars, friends, family, and new faces. One of our proudest accomplishments is building a community around this space, and we can’t thank you enough for your endless support.

Strawberry cakes are back! We’re happy to have this little piece of springtime freshness back in the display case, come grab one, or two, or three today and burst into the beginnings of berry season with us 🍓

We have hamantaschen! These little bundles of buttery goodness come in four flavors: poppyseed, raspberry, chocolate and brown sugar! They will be available by the single or in boxes of eight, containing two of each flavor. Come get yours at either our Belmont or Arlington locations while supplies last 😋

Our Easter menu is live! Easter comes early this year, quickly following St Patrick’s day, and Purim! We will have Quiche, a super sized pavlova, and more for all your brunch needs, and you can pick up at either location 🐰

While you wait, make sure to stop by for our Irish specials featuring corned beef hand pies and sandwiches, soda bread, and sour cream & herb scones at both locations. We will also have an Irish Breakfast Tea Latte at Belmont only for a limited time.

Starting 3/12, we are rolling out hamantaschen for Purim in a variety of flavors, including classic poppy seed. These are available for preorder now on our regular menu, and will be available in boxes or singles for walk ups through 3/24.

March Madness continues with our gift card special, and a surprise last minute appearance at the tomorrow!!
