Help Save Oakleigh’s Life
Just two days ago, I brought home what I hoped would be my forever horse. Instead of spending these first days getting to know each other, we’re now fighting for her life.
She suddenly developed severe colic and is being rushed to MSU. As many horse owners know, colic can become life-threatening in a matter of hours, and every minute counts.
The emergency examination, hospitalization, intensive treatment, and the possibility of emergency surgery come with overwhelming costs. We are facing veterinary expenses estimated between $15,000 and $30,000.
We never imagined I would be asking for help so soon after bringing her home, but right now my only focus is giving her every possible chance to survive. She deserves that chance.
