Hey y’all! 👋🏽 Let’s bake together!! I’ll show you how. ☺️ This honey bun cake recipe calls for a box of cake mix, and although I don’t usually cook with cake mix, this turned out moist and DELICIOUS! For the cake: 2 packages of cream cheese 4 eggs 1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 cup of water For the cinnamon sugar: 1 cup of brown sugar 2 tsp. of cinnamon For the glaze: 2 cups of powdered sugar 1/4 cup of milk Directions: In a bowl, add your cream cheese, eggs, oil and water. Mix until combined. In a separate bowl, add your brown sugar and cinnamon and mix them together (this creates “cinnamon sugar”. Next, generously butter a 13 x 9 inch pan and add half of the cake mix to the pan. Sprinkle all of your cinnamon sugar mixture on top, and then add the rest of your cake mixture. Once you spread it out evenly, bake at 350 for 35 minutes (or until golden brown, depending on your oven). While your cake is still warm, add your glaze on top and spread it around the cake evenly. Let the glaze set before cutting.
