It feels absolutely nothing like fall in Texas but when I saw this recipe, I knew I had to make these immediately. Gingerbread Latte cookies with lots of fall spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, fresh ginger, espresso powder and dark brown sugar. They’re chewy, spicy, and would go great with a cup of coffee or tea. Keep an eye out for them when the weather gets cooler!

Hello! We are still here! We haven’t been at the market, as much as we miss it this Canadian gal just can’t take the heat! (Seriously, I think I got heat stroke in my own yard last week) We will be back as soon as temps cool off and we’re looking forward to it! Greek style focaccia with cherry tomatoes, green bell peppers, red onion, kalamata olives, fresh garlic, feta, red wine vinegar, extra virgin olive oil, fresh oregano, cracked pepper and flaky sea salt.
Sourdough made with Guinness instead of water! Love how this one turned out. The flavor was very subtle, but delicious. Extra good when toasted.

A customer asked if I make yeast rolls, and I said that I hadn’t but it was something I needed to try. Fast forward to today, and these turned out PERFECTLY. This is a test batch and we can’t stop eating them. They’re soft, fluffy and perfectly sweet. Warm from the oven, with a little honey butter, these are what dreams are made of. They will definitely be added to the online menu soon, but for now DM if you’d like to order a batch or two.

Just in time for the holiday season! I love sweet potato pie, so why not incorporate that into a bread? Roasted sweet potatoes mashed with maple syrup, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and clove with roasted pecans throughout. Warm, comforting and perfect for fall!
Since we’re constantly coming up with new ideas and since the garden had a bumper crop of habaneros this year… let us introduce our newest flavor, Sweet Heat Mango Habanero! This unique bread is flavored with garden fresh habaneros, dehydrated mangoes and apricots to complement that fruitiness from the chilies, and a touch of honey to balance it out. What you’re left with is a one of a kind flavor that’s a perfect balance between spicy and sweet. It definitely has a kick, this one’s for the spice lovers! 🔥 we ate it with vegetarian chili for dinner last night and it was a great accompaniment. Focaccia will always be one of my favorite things to make. Especially when it’s full of fresh herbs from my garden. This one has thyme, basil, oregano, rosemary and parsley. Roasted garlic, black pepper, flaky salt, and copious amounts of extra virgin olive virgin olive oil make it absolutely perfect.
