We took a trip out to Pappy & Harriet’s to catch Mark Mothersbaugh perform at the , here are a couple recs:

1st pic: Sonny &
2nd pic: We stayed in Yucca Valley and ran into and tried their TLT and Potato Salad. So so good!
3rd pic: On our way back we stopped by for a Chupacabra Chick’n and some Mac N Cheese. Amazing food, amazing spot and amazing staff!
4th pic: Yeah, yeah, yeah had to stop at a record store. In Yucca Valley we went to and found some amazing scores.

Feeling nostalgic? We’re making our Pizza Rolls for The Nile Coffee Shop tomorrow(Sunday, 02/07). Get there early to make sure you snag one up before they disappear. Limited amount made, so we suggest not waiting too long.

Last day of SoJo’s today. We are sad and excited. We (Jocelyn & I) have been here since 11:30 last night to make what we could.
Should we be open on the day we have to give em our keys? Probably not. Are we stressed that we won’t be cleaned up before walkthrough? Absolutely. Would we do it any other way? Nope. Us DeCarlo’s are a wild duo. We love what we have accomplished and we LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU(even “new car guy”).

Gotta say that we definitely cried seeing the line.

Every day we get closer to closing, the more we cry. We are so proud of what we’ve done, but this isn’t the time or place for us. We thank you all for your love and support. We both don’t have much family to talk to during this, so y’all have become our family. We lost a lot of friends opening this shop(and going sober), so y’all are our friends now. We really do love what we were able to accomplish the 5 years we’ve been open and we are so touched by the love and support of our amazing community.

The rumors are true, we will be closing up the shop for good. It is sooner than we expected, but our last day of operation will be the 31st of this month(Halloween). We will be making donuts that day and going until we sell out, or pass out from crying. We might not have sandwiches that day, but we’ll let you know when the time comes. Almost everything in the shop is for sale, please help us clean out the spot. The art and VHS are donation base, so don’t worry if you can’t afford it just ask us. We are so proud of what we’ve accomplished in these last 5 years. The price of everything is going up, not many people are going out to eat anymore and we just can’t afford to stay open. We started this with just Jocelyn and I, no investors. We’ve done all of this ourselves and with a wonderful(most of em) rag tag group of amazing humans that joined our family. We have made some amazing friends that we hope to be friends with beyond the shop. We thank all of the wonderful people that have shared with us in our little dream.
These last few weekends we are going to try and make more donuts than usual, but it’s still first come first serve. We hope to see y’all these next two weekends and on Halloween!
We truly mean it when we say SoJo’s Loves Y’all, and we always will. This place was built on love of donuts, community and each other. We hope that we have shown you how amazing you are, and how truly wonderful this short weird little life can be.

They are repairing the parking lot out front (and back) of our shop, so we are gonna take the weekend off since there will be no place to park. Sorry y’all, but we’re gonna go to Flagstaff and see/smell/touch some trees. See y’all next Friday October 17th!
