Have you been craving Texas Sheet Cake? Because I have! The odds of me making one soon just keeps going up, especially since I remembered to buy walnuts at the store! Not a fan of chocolate but love almond? That's why they made a White Texas Sheet Cake. Thin, moist, and rich, both are amazing cakes! I wonder if I could make cupcake versions?

Tonight there were going to be glorious, gorgeous pictures of banana bread. Then I forgot to get shortening at the store. Could I use butter instead? Of course. But I like the recipe the way it is and I'm too tired to try something new. So, banana bread will be in the future. Dinner and sleep now.

These dinner rolls are AMAZING! You know, if I do say so myself. The first batch fell because I tried to get fancy. These, however, are nearly perfect. Thank you, Ms. Hale, for my first order! I can't promise I'll always be able to work that fast, but I'll do my best!

You may be asking yourself what I mean by "basic" bakery. In this case I mean "nothing fancy." I make cookies and quick breads and yeast breads, and I'll happily make desserts and dinner rolls. But I'm not going to make pies. Because pies, while delicious, are just not in my wheelhouse. I can't make crust to save my life. So, you'll just have to make due with other sweets.
