A little update from Alabama Oven Sweets! PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ!💕
Hi everyone!😊💕 I’m not sure how far this post will reach, as I know I’ve been gone for a little while, but I wanted to take a moment to update everyone!
First, this is NOT me officially announcing that I’m back in business just yet! I still need a little more time to love on my little boy before we add a +1 to our days. 💙 However, please always feel free to message me with any questions or order requests, and if it’s something I’m able to take on, I will always do my best to make it happen!
If you scroll through my page now, you may notice that some of my older menus and posts are missing. 😅 I’ve always been the type of person to dive headfirst into something rather than test the waters first, and while that has definitely kept me busy, it has also introduced me to so many amazing, supportive, and kind people. I truly cannot thank you enough for that, especially those of you who randomly message me just to check in and see how everything is going. Those little things mean more than you know!💕
With that being said, I’ve made a few changes to my menu!
When I first started, I offered a pretty large variety of treats. If you know me, you know I LOVE a good custom order and pushing myself to try new things! That hasn’t changed, and I would still LOVE for anyone with a custom order idea in mind to message me. I love getting creative and bringing your ideas to life! 🍰🍪
However, I’ve created a new, more simplified menu with set pricing to make ordering easier and to offer prices that are more affordable for you while still allowing me to give you the quality you deserve.
You’ll notice that cupcakes have been removed from my menu completely. I know some of you love a good cupcake, but surprisingly, they’ve become one of the most challenging things for me to keep up with while being a full-time SAHM and managing our home. I’ve also removed a few cookie flavors and added tea cakes to the menu! This will give everyone a more consistent selection and make pricing a little easier, too. 🤎
I’m learning that growing a small business also means learning what works best for me and my family, and I want Alabama Oven Sweets to be something I can continue to love and grow without taking away from the little moments that matter most. 🫶🏻
