This was my very last wedding cake (from September)....and my last cake (at least for awhile.) I'm starting a new career in Real Estate. It's never too late to try something new, ya know. 😉 I'm entering at a challenging time, but have no delusions that it will come easy. Even with all of that, I'm excited for this next chapter!

We had a Woodland Animals theme baby shower for one of our sweetest friends. She and her husband have been waiting to be parents for what I'm sure feels like a lifetime, but a few weeks ago their dream became a reality. They have the sweetest baby boy and I think everyone who knows them is beyond thrilled for them!

"Cosmic Brownie Cookies" from ! I baked these for my work peeps a couple of weeks ago and they were a major hit! Rich dark chocolate brownie cookies chock full of rainbow chips 🌈, semi sweet chocolate chips and mini chocolate chips. The sweetest creamy butter sends them over the top! butter is Idaho's best. 📚 "BARBARA'S NEXT CHAPTER: 100 YEARS LOVED" 📚 It's been my pleasure to create this lovely woman's 98th and 99th birthday cakes, and now her 100th! [Thanks Liz for asking me again!]
When I heard the theme was books, not gonna lie....I panicked a little inside. Enter to the rescue! I ordered two of their fabulous book stamped sugar sheets and wrapped them around the cake. Voila! They were exactly as I expected with rich, vibrant colors. They covered a 4 layer 6" Gluten-free Lemon cake filled with Fresh Lemon Curd and White Chocolate buttercream. The bottom tier is 4 layers of Gluten-free Chocolate Espresso cake filled with Espresso Buttercream, covered in Chocolate Espresso Buttercream, gold baubles, edible glitter and a custom cake topper. I used my favorite "Rustic Scallop" cake comb from on the bottom tier. [Get yours with my discount code TWYSTED at estercakes.com] I piped a row of Classic 1M rosettes from Amanda [She doesn't get enough credit for discovering that design - EVERYBODY uses it.]
There's a ra-diculous amount of butter in this cake and it's all butter! SO beyond sweet and creamy. My bakes have never been this good! 😋
Everything came together perfectly for me with this cake: it's probably my favorite of all time. 🤗
