Mercer Community Center

The Mercer Community Center board is sad and disappointed to announce the building is closed for use. The board has been notified that the city requested an environmental study and is now restricting any use of the building.

We were not informed of this action and do not know details leading up to this decision. We are requesting and awaiting the report from the city.

Community members and supporters—a special meeting of the Mercer City Council has been called on very short notice. A new community building is being considered that has not been on any previous agendas. Please attend to ensure questions are answered and the building is what will meet the needs in Mercer.

The current MCC board has not been a part of this committee and do not know any details of what is being proposed.

Santa Day! A great big thank you to our volunteers and donors for helping with this event. Thank you to all who dug out to visit with neighbors, enjoy a meal, and visit Santa’s workshop. So many smiles today!

If residents are interested in using the Community center, memberships are due! $50 for family, $25 for single per year! You can mail to city of Mercer PO Box 118, or drop in the city hall door!! Once money is received you will be provided with a code for the door. Code gets changed every year!
