Did you know there's actually a National Filet Mignon Day? And it happens to be today!🥩

I don't remember where I discovered that fun fact, but in the spirit of steak, here's a throwback to these Outback Steakhouse cookies for one of their employee holiday parties last year (hence the koalas and kangaroos wearing Santa hats🎅)

And yes, I know my steak cookies are T-Bones, not filets, but they still deserve a little shoutout😁

Some things never go out of style, and neither does making my dad his favorite chocolate peanut butter cake every year🎂

This year's design celebrates his 70th birthday with a vintage 1956 Chevy Bel Air and black and gold accents.

Inside is moist chocolate cake layered with decadent chocolate ganache and peanut butter buttercream, finished with more silky peanut butter buttercream and topped with plenty of Reese's.
