What a sweet first birthday setup for a very special little girl! 💕 I absolutely loved bringing this Berry Sweet One theme to life with the strawberry balloon garland, backdrop, table decor, and of course, her adorable strawberry cake! 🍓🎂

🌊🐚 Two Under the Sea! 🐚🌊

I had so much fun creating this colorful Two Under the Sea cake! 🩵💜🧡🪸 From the coral and seaweed to the little shells and bubbles, this cake was definitely a fun one to make!

A HUGE thank you to the wonderful customer who drove over an hour just to pick up their cake! 🥹💗 That truly means more to me than you know. The fact that you love and trust Marissa’s Country Kitchen enough to make that drive for one of my cakes is such an incredible compliment. Not only did they get a smash cake but a turtle cheesecake, banana cream pie and matching cupcakes.

What an incredible milestone to celebrate! 🖤💛 Marissa’s Country Kitchen had the pleasure of creating this elegant black & gold 50th Wedding Anniversary setup—complete with a statement balloon backdrop, shimmering curtains, and a beautiful cupcake display.

And of course, you can’t celebrate 50 years without something sweet! 🧁 From strawberries and cream to chocolate, peanut butter, raspberry and more, there was a little something for everyone.

50 years of marriage, memories, family, laughter, and love is truly something worth celebrating! 💍🥂 Congratulations to the happy couple, and thank you for allowing Marissa’s Country Kitchen to be a small part of such a BIG milestone!

💛 A Little Appreciation Post 💛

I talk a lot about how incredibly thankful I am for the wonderful clients who continue to support Marissa’s Country Kitchen, but today I want to recognize the people behind the scenes who make it possible for me to do what I love.

Last night, I stayed at an event a little longer than I expected… honestly, because I was just having so much fun! 😂 And while I was there, it really hit me just how lucky I am to have such an amazing support system waiting for me at home.

My family and friends support this crazy little business of mine in so many ways, but especially my girls. ❤️ They are always willing to step in, stay home with their little brother, help when I need it, and rarely ever question it. They just know Mom has somewhere to be and something to create.

Behind every cake, every balloon setup, every picnic, every event, and every late night is a family that helps make it possible.

So while I am beyond grateful for every single person who books me, recommends me, shares my work, and supports Marissa’s Country Kitchen… I’m just as grateful for the people at home who allow me to keep chasing this dream.

It truly takes a village, and I’m so thankful for mine. 🥹❤️

🌿✨ An evening well spent supporting local. ✨🌿

Tonight, Marissa’s Country Kitchen had the pleasure of creating this beautiful sunset picnic for an incredible evening hosted by JTL Farm & Gardens.

The night began with a peaceful garden tour, surrounded by beautiful flowers and the hard work that goes into growing them. We then gathered around the table with an amazing group of local vendors for a roundtable discussion—sharing ideas, experiences, challenges, and ways we can continue supporting one another and strengthening our community.

Small businesses thrive when we work together, and it was refreshing to spend an evening connecting with so many passionate entrepreneurs who all share the same goal: serving our communities with heart.

Thank you, JTL Farm & Gardens, for bringing us all together and allowing Marissa’s Country Kitchen to be a part of such a meaningful evening. Here’s to more collaboration, more friendships, and more opportunities to grow—together. 💙
