A cottage micro-bakery in the heart of Midtown Memphis baking European-style naturally leavened brea My name is Ali Rohrbacher.

I bake sourdough breads by subscription or special order, as well as seasonal pies and desserts. You can find my pies for sale by the slice on a weekly basis at City & State on Broad Ave. I am also currently working in a partnership with Caritas Village, volunteering as a pastry chef/baker. Getting ready for sourdough order pickups, and of course I forgot to print labels so I had to hand write them again. 🤷🏻‍♀️
If you want to try some sourdough bread, or you want some more, shoot me an email and I will put you on my my bread reservations list for my upcoming bake. If you are on my list, I will send you an email (or text alert if you prefer) when I have a bake day planned, and everyone on my list gets the first right if refusal before I open up orders and post the bake day info to Instagram. I will be doing several sourdough batch bakes in the next few weeks before I begin a new full time baking job, so be sure to get some sourdough while you can!!

Hey bread fans! I'm back at it after several months of multiple-part-time-job-scheduling mayhem, and I'm planning to bake a batch of country sourdough for pickups TOMORROW, Wednesday Oct. 4th, early afternoon. SAMPLE CAKES, Y'ALL!!

1st- Vanilla chiffon filled with macerated strawberries, fresh picked blueberries, and whipped cream, and frosted with vanilla French meringue buttercream made with grass-fed cultured butter. 2nd- Chocolate chiffon cake filled with fresh made raspberry jam and sliced fresh raspberries, frosted with semi-sweet chocolate ganache.

These are half versions of a 6" tier (the top tier of a wedding cake type size), with just one layer of filling, for a couple who are planning a fall wedding and wanted to try me out! So excited to be considered, and even more excited to make these incredible flavor combinations that are SO SO similar to my own taste preferences. This is definitely a couple after my own heart! 💕💍🍾💯🍰😁

BLUEBERRY PIE ALERT
Blueberry pie with a hint of orange zest in the crust. One of my all-time favorite pies. I picked the berries myself at plantation on Friday. Available by the slice this week (while it lasts) !!

This week's batch bake is on for tomorrow! I took a new baking job on top of my other 3 part time jobs +this bread thing, so my schedule going forward for sourdough is going to be a bit different. Sourdough Announcement: I will be doing my next classic country sourdough batch bake on Wednesday 4/26 for pickup in the afternoon/early evening. I owe a huge THANK YOU to everyone who picked up bread yesterday- thank you all so much for supporting my small baking business!
