While management roles have almost always been filled by ownership, we have taken so much pride in the staff we have hired to help serve YOU, and they deserve a shoutout with a capital S.

Since 2018, we’ve hired over 60 employees - most of which have been teens! They’ve come from all backgrounds and walks of life, but they have always had a few things in common: their drive, willingness to learn, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

It has been an absolute joy and privilege to be a place where they know they can be themselves, make friends, and receive support and encouragement. We looked forward to working alongside them every single day, and when the time inevitably came, sending them off on their next grand adventure - whether it was college, grad school, or a new work opportunity.

We will miss seeing our staff, both current and former, and being a place that provided opportunities and resources to kids in our community.

We are grateful for them, and we are even more grateful for the trust their parents instilled in us to lead, teach, and support their children.

And to you, Memphis, thank you for always being kind and patient with them! We all began somewhere, and for them, it will always be MDB. 🤍

Holiday Season has always been one of our favorites because it’s been a time when we could flex our creativity muscles and create something outside of the box!

A few years ago, we created this entire Monster Cake menu PLUS a traditional Halloween menu, and it was a complete flop 🤣 we didn’t get a single order for any of the monster cakes. We were both confused and disappointed, so we’re gonna give them their moment one last time because they deserve it.

We’re also gonna revisit everyone’s favorite - HP Weekend, which we stopped doing after we learned a bakery in Ohio had been sued by WB Studios for doing their own version of this type of event. Soooo local bakeries and restaurants, beware. 👀

The other two images are of OG items - Vampire Hot Chocolate and a Witches’s Brew milkshake. More Halloween flops, but super fun to come up with and test. No regrets, only learning opportunities. 🤍

AND FINALLY, we’ll be bringing back ALL of the Christmas goodies this holiday season as soon as Thanksgiving is over, so y’all get ready for that! LITTLE MDB SZN IS ALMOST HERE.

Since we opened our doors, we have made it our mission to not only serve sweet treats but also our community. From in 2018 to for the last couple of years, and organizations like , , , and the Arkansas Chapter of the ALS Association in the years between, it’s has been such an honor to play a small part in raising funds and awareness about the importance of these programs.

While we might be closing our doors, we wanted to shine a spotlight on them while it’s on us. Check out their pages, their missions, and if you feel compelled, donate and volunteer with one of them! 🫶

Oh, hiiii. Did we make a big announcement or something? 🙈 All jokes aside, thank you so much for your support and kind words and for sharing all of your memories with us both in-person and in our DMs and comments. We promise we are just as heartbroken and sad as you are. This place has been like a second home to us. 😭💔
