Hive Bagel & Deli A seed-to-plate concept in Memphis that uses local, high-quality ingredients to make fresh bagels. The name “Hive” comes from our beekeeping background.

Our NY-style bagels are boiled in water mixed with our own local & seasonal harvested honey for a great crust and flavor. We carefully curate the honey frames per colony to choose the exact flavor and quality of honey we need. We even name each colony based on the queen’s personality (Tw***ie, Beyonce, Margherita, Verla, and so on). We keep to a hyper-local lifestyle and will also be selling our honey until sold out seasonally (and support local honey from other beekeepers too).

Continuing education is a huge part of how josh has gotten where he is. He is always finding ways and places to discover new flavors, ideas and is an open book to try something… at least once.

It was an honor this past week to be able to send our head-Baker Chloe to Valrhona in Brooklyn, NY so she could train with a top ranked baker.
