Hello Everyone,

After quickly writing my previous post I realized that I didn't say a few things that needed said...

So here goes! Thank you, thank you and thank you again for all the encouragement, kind words, loyalty, and support that you have given me the past 10 years. Can you believe it was that long?

Some of you started with me and stayed with me as I changed the focus of the business a couple times... From wedding and celebration cakes to decorated cookies you stood by my side and allowed me the honor and privilege of being part of your family's special events.

I was able to spend time with many of you during classes and watched as your own cookie decorating skills grew and I was able to spend so much time with your children baking and decorating during summer baking camps.

So, letting the business go is difficult but it opened up so many opportunities for me to grow and I am grateful for the part that each of you played in that.

So again... Thank you! I cannot say it enough. You made a difference in my life that I will forever be thankful for.

I wish you all a Merry Christmas and 2023 filled with joy and love!

Hello Sweet Friends,

I have to apologize for not posting...are there any procrastinators out there that have great intentions, but the days zoom by leaving you in the dust? It is also hard to know what to say while I was waiting for issues to resolve and to know how I wanted to move forward...so the days ticked by one by one until we are at this present time and it's DECEMBER! How did that happen?

Anyway, to make a long story as short as possible. I'm just not able to work right now. My back is in such bad shape that I struggle with even little things and a day in the kitchen might mean I can't walk for the following days. (That is the short story)

The long story is that this has been an issue for most of my adult life. Last Christmas by the time I was finished with all the orders I could barely make it to the door to meet you guys. It was frustrating, painful and affected my whole family.

I had some surgery this Summer that kept me from working but during that time I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the business. After that I had opportunity to do a few orders and finally realized that this was something I was going to have to let go. I'm just not capable.

I don't know what the future holds, but right now this is what is going on and why it has taken so long to tell you. I do apologize for that. You deserved better.

Other than not being able to work long days in the kitchen I am doing well and I am happy. It has opened up more opportunity for spiritual growth, Bible Study or lunch with friends. It's allowed me to do other things that give glory to God and help people, so if I had to trade the business for something then it could not be better than this.

I do hope that each one of you have a wonderful Christmas and that 2023 holds lots of God's beautiful blessings for you too!

I'm still here if you want to come hang out, have coffee, bible study or join my crew for a rousing game of Bunco... lol

I've done a terrible job of letting you guys know what is going on. Every year I have to choose whether to do Mother's Day, Graduation, Teacher Appreciation etc...because there are not enough hours in the day to be able to do all of it. This year because of all the requests for graduation (I'm fully booked) I took enough orders that I was not able to do any of the other holidays or events. I do apologize if I wasn't able to fill your order for these other things.

I will be finishing up grad order by the end of the May and then taking a little break for some self care. I'll let you know when I am back up and running.
