Mediapolis Iowa Be Proud!!

A little starstruck, and a little teary-eyed listening to Mediapolis native and Ulta Beauty CEO Kecia Steelman mention that she stops at Jilly’s every time she’s back in town brought me to tears. As a small business owner, hearing her speak so kindly about something I’ve poured my heart into means more than I can explain.

But what touched me just as much was hearing her talk about her family and the peace she finds back home—right down to watching deer in the cornfield. There’s something special about those little things that make this place home, no matter where life takes you. 🌽🤍

And can we talk about this, Mediapolis?! The CEO of ULTA BEAUTY is from our hometown! That is something we should be shouting from the rooftops! 📣

Kecia, (don't know if you will actually see this) thank you for supporting our little coffee shop and speaking about home with so much love. Your story is inspiring for every hard working small town Iowan! Mediapolis has every reason to be proud of you.
