Well, I can’t believe that Summer is over already and the kids are back to school. Summer was crazy busy with work and family and I didn’t get to bake as much as I would have liked but I do want to share this Cake that I made for my daughter’s 13th birthday! It was a Coconut Cake with a Raspberry Filling damned by a Coconut Cream Cheese Buttercream and then iced with a Lemon Buttercream and covered in shredded Coconut. It was delicious! 😋 ‼️

This last week I had the pleasure of providing 17 dozen treats for a thank you dinner for about 50 volunteers and their families so around 80 total people. It was a lot of work and fortunately went very well. 😊🤩😋
The menu consisted of:
5 Doz Brown Butter Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Cookies (3 doz with Walnuts)
3 Doz Crispy Peanut Butter Cookies
3 Doz Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
3 Doz Oatmeal, Craisin & Walnut Cookies

✨ Fresh from the kitchen! ✨

Well friends, life has been busy, but in honor of Cinco de Mayo I made the most irresistible Tres Leches cake—light, fluffy sponge soaked in a rich blend of three milks and topped with a smooth, creamy finish. Every bite was perfectly moist, sweet (but not too sweet!), and melted in my mouth. 🤍

It’s one of those desserts that you want seconds of… and for good reason! If you love a classic treat with a decadent twist, this one is hard to beat.

I made these cute little cake pops for my son’s gamer themed birthday party last weekend. In all the craziness I forgot to post them. 🤪 For these particular ones the Super Star was Lemon, the Mushroom was Chocolate and the Wonder Block was Vanilla with some funfetti sprinkles. This recipe isn’t overly sweet and has a smooth fudge-like center. If you’re looking for cake pops for your next party or “just because” treat, shoot me a message.

As much as I love my sweets, sometimes you just need to have a little savory, especially for dinner. Lol 🤣 I made these Sourdough Discard Pretzel Dogs and they tasted so good that I wanted to share. Using a Premium Restaurant Quality Hot Dog definitely makes a difference and because they’re quite large, one was all it took to be full. My family all rated it a 9 or 10 out of 10. 😋
I also love that I was able to make extra and they’ll freeze well (or at least that’s what I’m told, lol.) 😉
