Paifala is a traditional Samoan half-moon pineapple turnover made with a thick, coconut-milk crust and a sweet, thickened pineapple filling.
I made them this morning for Senior Circle with Meant to Serve so used raw organic Coconut sugar to keep them a little healthier 🤭💕

🫶🏼Baking, for me, isn't just about making something sweet; it’s about a feeling. Some of my absolute best childhood memories are standing right next to my grandma in the kitchen, soaking in the love, warmth, and incredible smells. Every single time I step up to bake today, I’m right back there beside her.

👆🏼That’s the feeling I want to give to you.
