Weekend Bakery Clerk / Barista

We are looking for one very friendly and hard working individual to join our team! This position is for 'front of the house', retail sales, making drinks and sandwiches. Food service / waitress experience is preferred as this position requires you to be able to multitask and hustle! Must be able to work independently and as a team and work well under pressure.

Shirts are as follows in the bakery:

Sundays: 9am - 3pm

Occasional weekday shifts and 'after hour shifts' for workshops available for individuals interested in working more hours.

Pay depends on experience but ranges between $12 - $15/hr plus shared tips, which averages another $3-$4/hr. Paid 30 min lunch per 8 hour shift. Simple IRA after 9 months. 20% off all store items and free bread or pastry perks per shift! We also offer a very generous holiday bonus to all employees after 9 months of employment, up to $500!

This hands-on class introduces linocut printmaking from start to finish. Students will learn the basics of design, carving, inking, and printing, with a focus on translating simple drawings into bold, printable images.

Each participant will create a birds or botanicals themed design, carve it into soft blocks, and then print a set of cards. The class is beginner-friendly and relaxed, with no prior printmaking experience required.

Students will leave with their carved linocut block, a small edition of hand-printed cards, and a strong foundation in linocut tools, materials, and processes. Materials provided. Visit https://www.puppergrumplesart.com/workshops/talkingbreads/ to register!
