Happy Tuesday! And welcome to September🍁

Fall is kind of a favorite time of year around here! I love watching the leaves change color and cooler evenings. And the slowness that starts to come with the changing of a season. Sweatshirts and bonfires, hot cocoa and back to school. And of course, pumpkin and apple flavored everything! 🎃 🍎 🍁

🍪 The bakery is full of your favorites this morning! Leah made you some delicious pumpkin cheesecake, and pumpkin bars with a brown butter frosting. 😋 so delicious!

🧇 🍳 Today’s breakfast feature is our buttermilk Belgian waffle served with fresh cream and berries. It also comes with a side of breakfast meat.

🍔 This week’s lunch feature is a 1/2 pound sourdough melt. 1/2 pound beef patty served on grilled sourdough and topped with Swiss and Colby cheese, mayo and tomato. Includes hand cut fries.

I’m putting tomorrow’s post out early since I got too busy today and the day got away from me!

Wednesday’s Helmer House Happenings 🏡

🍪 Bakery- Leah made more of her sweet buns this afternoon! 😍. First pumpkin flavor of the season! Pumpkin cream cheese! She also has cherry and blueberry available. The case is full of the rest of your favorites as well! Cinnamon rolls, brownie slabs, jumbo cookies, homemade bread and some gluten friendly options as well!

🍳 Today’s breakfast feature is a ham and cheese omelette served with a side of potatoes and homemade today and strawberry jam. I do have some fresh mushrooms, peppers and onions so we could offer some other omelette varieties as well!

🍔 This weeks lunch feature: pulled pork smokehouse sandwich and hand cut fries. We are also offering our stuffed spud as well. It’s been a minute since we’ve served these!

Breakfast feature today is our all you would like to eat cinnamon swirl French today (freshly baked in house, of course!) served with a side of breakfast meat.

Lunch feature today is our double bacon grilled cheese with hand cut fries or a cup of homemade soup

Good Friday Morning! ☀️

The bakery case is full, but we’ve already sold out of some things within an hour of opening! 😳. I guess a rainy day makes for early coffee and sweet treats! 🤭

Today’s breakfast feature is stuffed biscuits and gravy. We make our buttermilk biscuits in house, of course! As well as the sausage gravy, so come in for some homemade goodness! 😋

Lunch feature is a double bacon grilled cheese with hand cut fries or a cup of soup. Today’s soups are chicken noodle and creamy potato and ham.

Today’s the day! 🥳 🍓
We are serving our strawberries and cream cheese stuffed French toast this morning! Made with our bakery fresh bread, of course!

The bakery is full again this morning! More cinnamon rolls are warm and in the case, as well as the rest of your favorites. LOTS of jumbo cookie choices this morning!

Leah will have her German kolaches out tomorrow. She’s been away for the last couple weeks at camp so they’ve been MIA…but she will have them in tomorrow’s (Friday’s) case!

This week’s lunch special is the double bacon grilled cheese served with a cup of homemade soup or hand cut fries. Homemade soups are chicken noodle and creamy potato.

Happy Tuesday to you! 🥳. It’s the start of a new week here…the bakery case is stocked full of all of your fresh, made in house favorites! 🍪 coffee is on, and we have some delicious specials for you this week. I heard our stuffed French toast is coming your way Thursday! 🍓

The bakery is full! 🍪 today’s breakfast feature is our loaded farmhouse bowls and lunch feature continues to be our BLT club croissants.

Happy Friday! 🥳 ☀️
It’s been so crazy around here I haven’t posted in quite awhile! But the bakery case is full of your favorite homemade treats, lots of fresh bread and some delicious cafe specials I had to share!

☀️ Today’s breakfast feature: loaded biscuits and gravy while supplies last! We sell out almost every Friday no matter how much gravy we whip up! 😅. Our bakery fresh buttermilk biscuits, house recipe sausage gravy, hashbrowns and scrambled eggs.

☀️lunch feature: (Saturday as well)
Chicken bacon ranch wraps with house fries or a cup of soup. Made with our homemade chicken Tenderloins and topped with Colby jack cheese, house recipe ranch, and local greens and tomato 🍅.

SOLD OUT!

We have 5 - 1/2 bushel baskets of red haven peaches left. FCFS only… they are delicious, but a bit pricey this year, as I was told there is a shortage on the this year’s harvest. I am not able to get the big bins/crates this year…I got what they could bring me!
