For my friend's mother's 80th birthday celebration, I created a scrumptious Dulce leche filling cake that combined simplicity and elegance. The handcrafted florals with golden tips added a touch of sophistication to the cake and were the perfect cake toppers. The two tiers were vanilla and chocolate with the same rich Dulce leche filling.

It’s graduation season folks!!! And as a home baker, this is possibly the busiest time of the year. It’s also one of favourite type of cakes to make- I love listening to parents talk about the various interests their kids have and where they are going to college etc. For this graduate, his passions were incredible! He is an avid singer who loves to ski and is a black belt in karate - as well as a budding Astro physicist!! Wow!! It was truly a treat to incorporate all his interests into one cake as well as be at his graduation. Congratulations Ibrahim.
