Happy Wednesday, help us welcome our newest offering Mwito Rwanda!

Mwito Washing Station sits along the shores of Lake Kivu, a region known for its beauty and potential, though that potential wasn’t always fully realized. For years, farmers here lacked consistent support and stability. In 2017, Rwanda Trading Company stepped in, bringing long-term investment and creating a renewed sense of direction to the community.

Since then, Mwito has become a place of steady growth, not just in coffee quality, but in the lives connected to it. From agronomy training to building a kindergarten for farmers’ families, the focus here goes well beyond the harvest.

This Red Bourbon lot is naturally processed, with cherries dried on raised beds for nearly two weeks. This brings out a deep, fruit-driven sweetness while keeping the cup balanced and elegant. The result is rich and comforting with a soft floral finish. More info in stories as always! ⚡️

Happy Tuesday! Welcome our newest offering, Worka Sakaro!

From the high elevations of Gedio in southern Ethiopia, Worka Sakaro brings together over 400 smallholder farmers growing coffee on steep, shaded mountainsides. These coffees develop slowly in the cool climate, building depth, sweetness, and complexity along the way.

This lot was given a more experimental approach with an anaerobic natural process. After harvest, the cherries are sealed in oxygen-free environments and carefully fermented for several days before being moved to raised beds to dry. That extra step brings out more intensity while still keeping the structure and clarity you want in the cup.

The result is boozy and fruit-forward with notes of wild berries, black grape, and blood orange liqueur. Head to stories for more info on this coffee, we know you will love it ⚡️

Welcome our newest offering, La Piragua!

Grown at 1,800 meters in the mountains of Huila, this expressive natural lot comes from La Piragua, a family-run farm led by Arley Vargas and his father, Alexander. Beyond their own production, La Piragua
serves as a central hub for neighboring producers, many of whom rely on the farm to process their coffee. Women in the community play a key role in the farm’s operations, making this coffee an important source of shared livelihood.

This coffee vibrant and refreshing. Juicy strawberry sweetness meets bright lemonade notes, with a subtle hint of basil that adds a clean, herbal lift.
All of these unique qualities combine to make a coffee that is both expressive and delicious.

This fun coffee is perfect for summertime, and highlights the work happening at La Piragua and the surrounding community.

Welcome our newest offering, Huila Colombia!

High in the Andes Mountains of southern Colombia sits Huila, a region known for producing some of the most vibrant coffees in the country. Volcanic soil from Nevado del Huila, paired with dramatic elevation and shifting microclimates, creates the kind of growing conditions coffee loves. The result is a cup that’s lively, layered, and deeply satisfying.

Our Rainforest Alliance–certified lot reflects the care these growers take not only with their coffee, but also with the land around them. The certification recognizes farms that prioritize sustainable practices and biodiversity, and many producers in the region work together to protect the ecosystems that make coffee growing here possible.

Because these farmers oversee each step themselves, the character of the region shows up clearly in the cup. Expect gentle fruit sweetness with notes of red pear, white tea, and honey, finishing smooth, balanced, and easy to come back to again and again. We hope you enjoy this cup! MEET ETHAN//

Hi everybody! My name is Ethan Isbell, and I’m working as the Production Assistant for Edison. For now, I’m helping with everything after the coffee is roasted - labeling bags, bagging coffee, shipping out orders, and doing deliveries!

In 4+ years of working in the coffee industry, I have become increasingly passionate about serving people. I’m so excited to grow with Edison, learning everything I can alongside this awesome team - from loving our community well and honoring the producers we work with.

A little about me… I’m a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan, a movie buff, and an aspiring home-chef who can cook anything. I also do videography and my goal for 2026 is to learn an instrument, and be a more consistent book reader.

We’ve been roasting for 10 YEARS! 🎉 These photos both feel like yesterday and like another lifetime ago. We’ll spare you all the sap, but we are just so THANKFUL for all the support, all we’ve learned over the years, the producers we’ve gotten to work with, this beautiful industry. We have the coolest job ever. Thanks for being here. The name “Edison” is a family name but also in honor of one of our biggest inspirations, Thomas Edison. We’ll leave you with one of our favorite words from him that have pushed us to be the best we can be and keep us pressing on towards growth and success: “I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”

Happy Tuesday, welcome our newest coffee offering Endebess Estate!

This coffee comes from Endebess Estate in Kenya’s northern Rift Valley, right at the foot of Mount Elgon. The land here is lush, volcanic, and deeply alive, with coffee growing high in elevation and shaped by cool nights, rich soils, and fresh river water from the nearby Koitobos River.

Endebess has a long history of caring well for both coffee and community. For decades, the estate has supported neighboring producers, and today it’s managed by Kaitet Tea Plantations, who continue to invest in their people through housing improvements, education support, and long term sustainability efforts.
This lot is naturally processed and sun dried slowly on raised beds, rotated throughout the day to develop clarity and sweetness. In the cup, it’s full body, with notes of Cooked Grapefruit, Bergamont, Honey.

A generous, fruit forward Kenya that feels both special and easy to love. We’re really excited to share this one with you. Find a link in our stories! 🍯
