Now that the boys are older, I feel like I can start baking again. First cake back from my hiatus was do a 40th birthday celebration. I loved trying a new technique with this cake. Instead of black dye I used extra dark cocoa so the birthday girl didnā€™t end up with dyed lips and teeth. The frosting paired with a vanilla cake marbled with white cake tasted like an iconic cream filled sandwich cookies šŸ˜‰šŸ„°

Jellyfish theme baby shower for my cousin! So much fun creating it. Forgot to grab a photo once it was cut but the inside is tie-dyed Purple, Pink and Blue.

This was a spin off of my Grandfathers favorite cake Chocolate with Strawberry Jam between layers. So it could be tie-dyed I made a White Chocolate Velvet cake with white chocolate ganache and strawberry jam between layers frosted with white chocolate buttercream.

Honestly I think this has become my favorite cake.
