We’ll be dropping off fresh sourdough bagels at Main St. Mercantile at 11:30 AM!

We’ll have 2-packs & 6-packs of:

🤎 GET TO KNOW THE OWNER — THE FACE BEHIND THE BREAD! 🤎

Hey y’all! 👋🏻 With so many new faces here since our move to Texas, I thought I’d introduce myself!

I’m Taelor, the owner and baker behind 1889 Bakery — and basically the recipe tester, photographer, packager, dishwasher, social media manager and everything in between. 😂🥖

1889 Bakery started 4 years ago in Alabama when I was struggling to find work and wanted a way to help support our family. I loved baking, so I decided to take a chance and turn that passion into something more.

And it started SMALL — like 4–6 items a week small. 😂

Eventually, 4–6 became 40–60… and before I knew it, I was making 100–400 items every week! 🥹🤎

As a military family, we move often, which means every few years I pack up my bakery, my bannetons and my sourdough starter and start all over again. 😂📦

📍 Washington State
📍 And now… TEXAS! 🤠🌵

Somehow, in every state we’ve lived, this little bakery has grown into something bigger than I ever imagined — with sold-out markets, incredible customers and people coming back week after week.

Now it’s time to build it again here in Copperas Cove/Fort Cavazos, and I couldn’t be more excited. 🤎
