It has been months since I last took an order, but a couple approached me for their wedding tasting around the middle of last year. This was after two unsuccessful tastings with other bakers. They arrived with little enthusiasm, almost resigned to the idea of not finding the perfect cake. However, they left brimming with excitement and happiness, knowing that I was the only one they wanted to entrust with their cake.

Today was the day of their wedding, and despite feeling exhausted after a long week at work, I was overjoyed to see their smiling faces. Being able to play a part in their happily ever after was truly rewarding.

Today Juneteenth commemorates the emancipation, independence, and freedom of African Americans and emphasizes education and achievement.
This day is a reminder of the progress we’ve made and the work we must do to make good on our nation’s promise of liberty and justice for all.
It took our nation 156 years to recognize this day worthy in 2021! Let's celebrate it like we have 156 years to catch up on it!

As I was walking the dog last night, I saw the young man really working his behind off.
Told him I appreciated him and it seemed to have made his night from the expression he gave.

Everytime I say "I'm done, no more!" I get a request for a kid. And I just can't break a sweet darlings heart. So here she goes..and o-m-g... was the little darlings reaction worth the long night. 😍 absolutely!!!

If we berazzle-dazzle your cake with glitter and shimmer, just know, we love you forreal.

This little girl is just too adorable!!
Almost as adorable as the little darling to receive this cake!
If I had to name her she would have been a little Peggy, but considering she was being devoured right after, would that even have been ethical? 🫣🤤
I'm just super in awe and even more excited to see pictures from the family 🥰

2 layers of chocolate oreo cake and 1 layer of vanilla cake turned into this little honoring cake of his accomplishments!
