Thank you to all who have reached out with your kind words. They were truly felt. While my heart is broken, I am grateful that my dad left on his own terms, quick and peacefully. He is free from the chains of his earthly body and his spirit lives on. I think my siblings and I did him proud with his services. He will be missed immensely and we will forever honor his legacy.

I am working on responding to missed messages. Thank you for your compassion and understanding. You all are the best!

It is with profound sadness that I share that my father passed away peacefully this morning. He fought hard over the last few months, and now he can finally rest.

This evening, I found myself scrolling through old Facebook messages from him. He sent me messages filled with photos of cakes and cookies he thought were cool, ideas he thought I should try, and things he simply knew I'd love. My dad was one of my biggest supporters. He never missed an opportunity to tell me how proud he was that I turned my passion for baking into a business and a dream into a reality and he never missed an opportunity for a slice of cake 😉.

Thank you all for the kindness, compassion, prayers, and support you've shown my family and me over these last few months. It has meant more than you know. Wild Heart Bake Shoppe will be closed this week while my family and I grieve and make arrangements for his funeral services. Messages will be returned next week.
Dad, I hope you've found peace. Thank you for believing in me every step of the way. I’m sorry I didn’t get the chance to make you that 12 layer chocolate cake ❤️
