For those who have recently found my page, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
Hi, I’m Hilary — the heart and hands behind this little cottage bakery based in McDonough, Ga.
I’m happily doing life with my hot homie, Kevin, and together we’ve built a beautifully full life. I am a mom and bonus mom to six grown sons. Our home has always been loud, busy, and centered around food — which is exactly how I like it.
Before I traded in lesson plans for layers of buttercream, I was an elementary school teacher. But truthfully, I’ve been baking (and making a royal mess in the kitchen) since I was a little girl. Flour on the counters, batter on the spoon, music playing in the background — that’s always been my happy place.
What started as love baked into birthday cakes and family gatherings grew into something bigger: a cottage bakery rooted in nostalgia, creativity, and from-scratch goodness. Every cake, cookie, and sweet treat is made with intention, heart, and just the right touch of magic.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you can usually find me antiquing or thrifting for hidden treasures, catching live music, traveling somewhere new, wandering outdoors, spoiling our three pups, or trying a new local restaurant (for research purposes, of course 😉).
